Events at the festival:
Their work is characterised with virtuosity and dynamism enticing audiences to listen and to dance. The group’s sound is based around the consonance of violin, harp guitar and nyckelharpa, and they constantly explore new musical frontiers. Seeking inspiration from genres as diverse as Baroque and pop, the artists have created their own, unique style, which quickly earned them admiration from the public. Their music invokes a wide spectrum of emotions, from sorrow to joy. All this means that it’s virtually impossible to sit still during their concerts. Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall were nominated for the best group title during the 2014 and 2015 Folk and World Music Galas.
